We here at GARLIC & GREENS are really looking forward to a new year-long collaborative project called FULTONIA, celebrating the legacy of Dr. Alvenia Fulton, a naturopathic healer who worked from a storefront at W. 63rd and Damen in Chicago until her passing in 1999. Most famously, Dr. Fulton wrote the forward to Dick Gregory’s Natural Diet for Folks Who Eat: Cookin’ with Mother Nature
